Join us for a bountiful conversation about ADUs in Rural Landscapes. We are diving into the WEEDS of how and why ADUs work well in rural environments. We will also share relevant local and state policy with you to take back to your own neighborhoods.

Be sure to register TODAY to attend in person via this form or virtually (click the button to the left and submit your information).

Passionate about all things ADU or looking to become more knowledgeable about them? Join our taskforce and let’s work well together!

Special guest, Dr. George Pomeroy of Shippensburg University and Southhampton Township Planning Commission member, will join the Coalition to discuss “Why Land Use & Zoning are SO IMPORTANT to the Housing Development Space”. Dr. Pomeroy is a professor of Geology, the director of the former Center for Land Use at Shippensburg and has served on the Southhampton Planning Commission since 2012. He has a wealth of theoretical and applicable knowledge to share with you. We’ve listed a few questions/reflections below that you can expect to be answered on 10/19.

  • How land use and zoning influences directly and indirectly what gets built, where, when, and why

  • Examples of land use and zoning reform in the law

  • Zoning x NIMBYISM

  • How residents can positively influence (and capacity build) their municipal staff and officials
